Boosters Meeting 9/9/2024

Attendance: Denny Costlow, Jodi Russ, Paul Nelson, Pat Henry

Absent: Renee Rymanowicz, Rich Stewart

Effective immediately, Renee has resigned from the Boosters. We need to find a replacement for her.

1. FLL Explore - Registered 14 teams but only have 13 participating

1. All got a new set of the Lego Spike kit this season so that they can make more models move

2. FLL Challenge - 6 teams - 2 all girl teams 4 teams all boys, none of which are full

1. All got new sets of Lego Spike so they can build up to 3 robots

3. FTC - 5 teams with only one full to capacity

1. 2 girls from FTC went to the FRC event with the girls on Sunday

2. All 8th graders will be invited to team 8423

4. Denny will have financials ready next week

5. Received check from the fair - contract is one more year

6. Donations from many of the normal sponsors is lower than in past years

7. Pat Henry has a contact for bits for the CNC 

8. FTC event

1. Rhonda Williams will be the FTC Event volunteer coordinator

2. Denny is event coordinator

3. Jodi is volunteer food and concessions coordinator
